Below a selection of pictograms from the Austrian standard ÖNORM A 3011, Graphische Symbole für die Öffentlichkeitsinformation (Graphic symbols for public information), Parts 2 to 11. At the moment this standard shows 172 symbols. Almost all pictograms were selected and improved on the basis of extensive tests.
The standard is available on paper as well as in electronic format at the Austrian Standards Institute.
